Ex-LMS Class 5s 44871 + 45407 have just left the South Wales mainline east of Newport and are approaching Caerleon with ‘The Cathedrals Express’, steam hauled from Gloucester to Shrewsbury, on 29th November 2014. They are running alongside the River Usk, and this was the first time I had ever seen a boat at this spot.
