The winter of 2010-11started early, and a light dusting of snow had fallen overnight before ‘King’ Class 4-6-0 No. 6024 ‘King Edward I’ slogged up the 1 in 80 climb from Abergavenny to Llanvihangel on 27th November 2010. Although the trip originated at Paignton, 6024 worked the train from Bristol to Shrewsbury and back, seen here on the outward journey.
