With the wintry sun setting behind, ex-LMS ‘Jubilee’ Class 4-6-0 5690 ‘Leander’ crosses the viaduct at Chirk with the return journey of a Vintage Trains special from Birmingham to Chester on 4th March 2006. The Shropshire Union Canal crosses the Ceiriog Valley on an aqueduct immediately alongside the railway viaduct.
