A locomotive type never before seen at this famous and unmistakeable location.  At 7.00am on Day 3 of the ‘Castle in Scotland’ on 28th May 2012, ex-GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 5043 ‘Earl of Mount Edgcumbe’ is crossing the Forth Bridge with an empty stock movement to Inverkeithing  in order to turn the train prior to returning south.  Due to the fire risk, a diesel is coupled inside the Castle.
