Ex-GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 5043 ‘Earl of Mount Edgcumbe’ is storming the start of the 1 in 75 climb to Shap summit at Greenholme with ‘The Coastal Explorer’ steam hauled from Carnforth to Carlisle on 19th Sept 2015. Unfortunately, the loco failed at Carlisle before it could work the planned return along the Cumbrian Coast.
