On Day 7 of GBVII, 2nd May 2014, ex-LNER ‘K1’ Class 2-6-0 62005 worked the second part of the train from Fort William to Mallaig and return.  The train waited here at Mallaig for several hours to pick up the passengers from the first part of the train, who had travelled from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh, and then down the Isle of Skye and across to Mallaig on the ferry.  Meanwhile, the passengers who had come from Fort William made the opposite journey.
