Established in1992, the Kingdom of Fife Railway Preservation Society is a registered charity which is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. Our aim is to preserve Fife’s railway heritage.
We own a 21 acre former railway marshalling yard and have constructed half a mile of track plus substantial sidings. Our restoration work is conducted in the “Colin Munro” shed which is well equipped with engineering machinery and work space.
As a heritage railway, we are open to visitors and are establishing a series of open days in which restored trains will take passengers for demonstration trips
