‘N15’ ‘King Arthur’ Class 4-6-0 30451 ‘Sir Lamorak’ is at speed through Surbiton Station with the 08.46 Salisbury – Waterloo in 1961.  When the station was built in the 1840s, Surbiton was little more than a small farm.  As the London commuter belt expanded, it grew into a significant town, and the station was completely rebuilt to the form seen here with 2 island platforms in the 1930s.
