On 27 & 28/06/09, a number of mainline shuttles were run from Skipton to Settle Junction in connection with the Keighley and Worth Valley Gala, using ex-LMS 4-6-0 5690 ‘Leander’.  On the evening of the 27th, the journey was extended to Ribblehead, enabling a rare evening shot on the S&C at Sheriff’s Brow.
