On 30th November 2004, the Strategic Rail Authority used 3440 ‘City of Truro’ to haul a special train to open the re-installed double track between Burngulow and Probus.  On 27th November, 3440 hauled the train from Bristol to Plymouth to get it into place.  This gave it a run over the South Devon banks, here climbing towards Rattery summit.  This is a clip from ‘Record Breakers’ – the full video is for sale in the Shop.
