The second major incline on the route to Inverness is that to the summit at Slochd, north of Aviemore. Ex-LMS ‘Class 5’ 4-6-0 45212 + ex-LNER Class ‘K1’ 2-6-0 are passing Carrbridge at the foot of the 1 in 60 bank.
