Ex-SR “West Country Class’ 4-6-2 34046 ‘Braunton’ (running in the guise as ‘Battle of Britain Class’ 4-6-2 34052 ‘Lord Dowding’) + ‘ex-LMS ‘Royal Scot’ Class 4-6-0 ‘Royal Scot’ are approaching the 1 in 35 Dainton Summit between Exeter and Plymouth. For operational reasons, the train was diesel hauled from Plymouth to Penzance.
