Day 2 Sunday 30th April : Edinburgh – Dundee – Perth – Inverness
The A4 had been scheduled to operate from Edinburgh to Perth. Instead, ex-LMS ‘Class 5’ 4-6-0 45212 was rushed down from Fort William, where it was on ‘Jacobite’ duty, as a substitute. It is here seen crossing the iconic Forth Bridge.
