This video is about West Somerset Railway. On a sunny March day Pecket No. 1788 0-4-0 ‘Kilmerdon’ gently shunts trucks at Washford.

Black 5 45231 ‘The Sherwood Forester’ pilots rebuilt West Country Class 34046 ‘Braunton’ on the ‘Pines Express’ from a distant Watchet station towards the noisy Papermill complex.

GWR designed but West Somerset Railway built, 2-6-0 9351 heads through the shimmering heat haze (yes, in March) towards Blue Anchor and then departs for all stations to Bishop’s Lydeard.
